Walter King, M.Ed., LMFT has 38 years of psychotherapy experience. He holds a BA degree in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University, and a Master’s Degree -M.Ed,. in Educational Psychology from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. Walter pursued studies in depth psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute and the CG Jung Institute of Los Angeles. Following intensive training in psychoanalysis at the CG Jung Institute of Los Angeles, Walter was certified as a Jungian Psychoanalyst in 2022.
Walter has served as a School Psychologist in a number of public schools. His other clinical experiences include serving as a staff therapist at Newington Children’s Hospital, drug and alcohol counselor at CPC Alhambra Hospital, and psychological consultant to the Association to Aid Victims of Domestic Violence in Santa Clarita, California. Throughout his years in private practice, Walter has conducted a number of group experiences focusing on social, emotional and psychological issues confronting men.
Walter maintains his private psychotherapy practice in Newhall, California. He is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California.
